Simply Be Maxi Dress

For awhile now I had been eyeing up this Maxi Dress from Simply Be and after seeing the Lovely Becky over at Mrs BeBe , the lovely Vicky at The Curved Opinion wearing this dress (Vicky had shortened hers and it looked amazing)  and the lovely Becky over at Does My Blog Make Me Look FatI knew I had to try it for myself.

By chance I checked their website and it had been reduced to £18.50 and they had one in stock in my size so I thought bugger it I'm having one!!! This is the first time I have ever ordered anything from Simply Be (I know bad blogger!) and I was really impressed with the speed of the delivery I ordered it late on the Tuesday night and it was with me by the Friday morning.

I went with a size 18 and I was pretty sure the length would be OK as Vicky and I are the same height and this is something I always struggle with as I am 5' 4" so a lot of maxi dresses are just too long for me and I end up tripping over them!!!

I am very pleased to say that I love this dress words can't even begin to describe how happy it made me!! The length is perfect and the fit was amazing and there was plenty of room for my bust and it also fitted well around my waist which for me is quite a find in a dress as usually one area or the other doesn't fit.

The addition of the lace detailing at the neckline and on the bottom makes it a bit different from alot of the other dresses that currently on the market and the jersey material is cool and comfortable.
I took it for a test drive on Saturday as we went to Stratford Upon Avon for the day to make the most of the sunshine and it was perfect for the weather and I felt really comfortable all day.
