OMCZ Challenge Breaking the Fashion Rules

So the lovely Steph put a call out on Twitter to see if anyone would like to join in the OMCZ challenges and as this is a  challenge I have enjoyed seeing the other ladies blog about  I asked if I could join.

The Challenge is - To Break The Fashion Rules

Now one of the many fashion rules we here with regard to us plus size ladies is that we shouldn't wear stripes as they make us look bigger! I think this is complete crap you can wear whatever you want and no stripes don't make you look bigger in the same way that my shapewear doesn't make me look like I wear a size 10 dress!!

When I sat down to write this post I suddenly realised how many stripey items I own and that I am quite happy to wear them, but to get myself out of my comfort zone I took one of my favourite Primark Dresses and wore it differently to how I would normally.

Usually when I wear this dress I team it with leggings and a cardigan but no this time I opted for bare legs and arms - take that fashion police a fat girl with her knees and arms on show in a stripey dress its a wonder I wasn't arrested!!!
