30 Day Blog Challenge Day 15

Hello and welcome to day 15 of the 30 Day Blog Challenge I can't believe we are half way though already and today you are going to follow me through a typical day in my life.

So my typical day during the week whether I am working or not usually starts at 7AM and here is what I look like first thing in the morning.

I get up get showered and dressed and by this point my son is normally up and goes downstairs with my husband and has his breakfast while I get ready. Once I have got dressed its normally a quick instagram of what I am wearing that day!!

Then I head downstairs to do the washing up and pack my sons lunch for school.

At 8.30 its time for the school run.

Once my son is dropped off at school its then a mad dash back to car and drive to work in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter usually arriving just before 9.30.

I have to scan in on a little machine on the wall with my pass which logs my time of entry and exit every day.

So my first job of the day is to make a cup of tea as this is usually my first drink of the day as my
bladder is so useless I never have a cuppa before I go out in the morning!

My next job is to go through the parcels that have arrived, book the work out and input all the orders that go with it.

Lunchtime and I usually wander down to the local Tesco in the Jewellery Quarter

So lunch is eaten whenever its a good time to stop which usually depends on how busy we are and how many of us are in the office on a particular day!

More tea making in the afternoon!

These are two of my lovely colleagues Jo and Louise and this is the usual look of the office in the afternoon with the post being gotten ready to go out.

Hometime is anywhere between 4- 4.30 depending on our workload and so it is time to clock out and then scan out.

I then head back to the multi-storey car park where I park my car and head off to collect my son from my childminder.

 So once we are home normally it time to tackle homework and spellings but as the end of term is near that has finished so at the moment we get home and chill out!

Tea time for Oliver

This is my usual slob out gear that I wear when I get home from work and I usually wear whilst typing up my blog posts!

Once Oliver has eaten and then gone to bed we have our tea all alot of the time we eat together as a family.

Once tea has been eaten husband I usually chill out with either a bit of TV or surfing the internet and I use this time to catch up on Twitter etc and get blog posts written.

This is where I blog from!

Then eventually it is time for bed and if I have the energy a bit of reading but at the moment I usually just fall into bed exhausted ready to do it all again the next day!

So there you have it a day in the life of me not very exciting I know, but don't forget to check out the other ladies as who knows what you might find out!
