30 Day Blog Challenge Day 1

Hello and welcome to Day 1 of The 30 Day Blog Challenge!

The theme for today is 'The Story of my Life'.

I was born in Somerset in 1975, and at the tender age of two we moved away to Kidderminster where we stayed until I was eight at which point we moved again to Solihull (both times due to my dad changing his job). At eighteen I moved to Chester to go to university to study English with History and loved it there so much that I stayed for nine years (until my then boyfriend cheated on me) so I came back to Solihull and had to move back in with my mum and dad! My life was thrown completely on its head I had to find a new job, which also meant leaving the job that I had loved (at the time I worked for Cheshire Constabulary) and re-adjust to not living on my own anymore! This strange twist of fate then led to me meeting my now husband who after two months together asked me to marry him, although it actually took us 10 years, one mortgage and a child later to finally get married! I have worked for various organisations over the years including Marks and Spencer in their financial services call centre, but I have spent the last eight years working in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter and I love it. I only started blogging in March of this year but so far it has been quite the adventure and one that I hope continues for a long time!

So there you have it a very brief history of my life there is loads more I could say such as the fact that I was a Brosette in my teenage days but I think that is best left for another day!!
