Hello and welcome to Day Six of Blogtober 2014. The theme for today is your home town.
I'm sure most of you know that I reside in Birmingham although I am not a brummie born and bred (I was born in Somerset) but to me Birmingham is my home and a city that I love.
Poor old Birmingham, it has had a rough time over the years with people laughing at our Brummie accents (which are often confused for Black Country accents) and assuming that its a dirty and smelly city.
Well I love Brum and it has come a long way over the past few years with a new library, The Bullring and The Mailbox and still lots of transformation taking place. My only criticism is the lack of shopping for us plus size ladies although we do now have a Yours Clothing which has made me insanely happy!
We also have the Jewellery Quarter with its maze of old workshops and family run jewellers which makes a fab day out and is the place to go for something special!
Anyway less of me wittering enjoy some of the scenery of Birmingham!
