Your Writing Process

I have been tagged to take part in a blog hop by the lovely Vicky from The Curved Opinion to answer some questions about how I write my blog.

1. What are you working on?

At the moment I am in the middle of Outfit August which has seen me posting an outfit every day this month (I failed today)! I also have some more challenge posts this month to do and I still need to take part in Becky's new linky challenge before the month ends!!

2. How does my work differ from others in the genre?

I don't think I am vastly different from most other plus size fashion bloggers, most of my posts are outfit orientated with occasional beauty and ranty posts thrown in!! I also do the odd Youtube video but these are far and few between!!

3. Why do I write what I do?

I think partly its because I like to have a creative outlet and I find it fun to put together outfits and say well here is what I wore today!!! I have always liked fashion and shopping and as a plus size woman I want to show people that there are no limits or rules we can all wear what we want. I have also found that through blogging my body confidence has vastly improved and I am much more experimental in what I will consider wearing. If just one person looks at my blog and thinks I could wear that then my job is done!

4. How does your writing process work?

I don't really have a set routine, for me I sit down as and when I can to fit in around work and my family life. Occasionally I make notes but a lot of the time it comes from an outfit that I think is blog worthy or for a challenge that is due! I take my photos upload and edit them and then sit down and write the post. I will admit that I don't put much forethought into what I type it tends to just spill out of my brain and onto the screen!!! I sometimes think this is better as hopefully my writing style reflects my personality and doesn't appear forced or contrived!
