Liebster Blog Award

The lovely Beth from Tinkerbell and the Lost Girls and also the lovely Linda from Juffie Loves Styles both tagged me in their Liebster Blog Award posts which means I have to write 11 facts about myself answer the 11 questions they set for me and tag another 11 people to take part and set questions for them!!!

OK so here are 11 facts about me!

1. I hate mushrooms I think it is a texture thing but I believe they are evil and should be banished!
2. I have a degree in English with History from Chester University (Chester College in my day!)
3. I love to play The Sims 3 and have all the expansion packs!!
4. I have managed to reach the age of 38 without breaking any bones.
5. I share my birthday with Prince William.
6. I nearly had a breast reduction in my mid twenties but didn't go through with it and now I am glad I didn't.
7. I love Doctor Who in fact I am quite the geek!
8. I was lucky enough to see David Tennant as Hamlet at the RSC in Stratford.
9. I have also seen Kenneth Branagh and Derek Jacobi on stage at the RSC.
10. My son was born 9 weeks early weighing just 3 1/2 lbs.
11. I cried at the end of Final Fantasy X (told you I am a total nerd!!!)

1. A picture of my favourite accessory 

 I think my favourite accessory has to be my engagement ring!
2.What is your favourite nail varnish at the moment?

 

 I love this Barry M Sequin effect and MUA nail polish at the moment.
3.What is your favourite clothing store?
I think at the moment it has to be Primark, most weekends I nip and then end up spending some stupid amount but I have been loving their £10 midi dresses!!

4.What TV Show are you currently hooked on?
I have just finished watching all eight seasons of Desperate Housewives, and I tend to re-watch old tv programmes such as Twin Peaks!

5. What is your favouite Childhood film?
I think it has to be Superman I loved that film when I was small and no one will ever be a better Superman then Christopher Reeve.

6. What is your favouite piece of clothing in your wardrobe?
At the moment it has to be my super skinny jeans from Dorothy Perkins I love them so much I bought a second pair!
7.Where is your favourite holiday destination?
I love Turkey I have been twice and would love the chance to go back.
8.A Picture of your celebrity crush.

 I love Colin Egglesfield to me that is the real life version of Christian Grey!!
9. What is your favourite song?
It has to be Don't Dream Its Over by Crowded House I never tire of hearing that song.
10. A picture of your favourite lipstick

  I love the lipstick in this photo which is a freebie I got from Boots No7 when I bought a mascara!
11.Your favourite touristy place to visit.
I love Weston Super Mare as I am originally from Somerset so it feels like home whenever we visit.

Now for Linda's questions


1. Why do you blog?
I think one of the reasons I blog is because I wanted to become more accepting of my figure and to be more adventurous in my fashion choices - plus I love fashion and I love to shop!
2. High Street or High end make up?
I nearly always buy cheap high street make up my last really expensive purchase was a Clarins foundation to wear on my wedding day but normally I hit the aisles of Superdrug!
3.What is your current favourite lipstick and why?
This would be my Boots No7 freebie one as it stays put really well.
4.Winter or Summer fashion?
I always used to prefer winter as I could cover up but this year I am really loving summer fashion as I have embraced dresses!
5.Can you go out of the house without wearing any makeup?
Yes especially if I am just going out for a walk as I would sweat it all off anyway!
6.Worst Beauty habit
Not taking my eye make up off at night before bed!
7.Favourite way to wear your make up
I prefer the dewy look so tend to opt for lighter foundations and just some mascara and eyeliner.
8.What is your skincare routine?
I try my best to cleanse tone and moisturise!
9. Bold lipstick or natural?
Natural as I am quite fair and bold lipstick doesn't suit me.
10.Favourite make up item.
This has to be my new No7 foundation as it actually does make my skin more dewy!
11. Worst hairstyle you have ever had?
For some unknown reason I decided in my mid twenties to have a curly perm on my at the time very long hair and it was awful!!!
